One of the most famous English writers of all time. She was born on September 15, 1890 in Torquay, England. She specialized in writing detective novels. She published her first novel in 1920, which was titled The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Many of her novels have been adapted into serials and films in many countries. She created many characters that she used in most of her works. Among her works are: And Then There Were None, Murder on the Orient Express and A Night of Terror. She died on January 12, 1976 in Oxfordshire.
