Thereafter, she devoted her life to cinema and made about 15 films as a screenwriter, director, and producer, most notably Julie & Julia (2009), Sleepless in Seattle (1993), and You've Got Mail (1998). She passed away on June 26, 2012 of leukemia, at age 71. |
