Egyptian composer, musician, and plastic artist born in Tahta in 1922. He graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Zamalek, Department of Painting. He also obtained a drawing diploma from the Institute of Education for Teachers, and a Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Education and Psychology. He worked as a painter, artistic director, and secretary for The Story magazine. He also worked in Sawt Al-Umma newspaper. He published about thirty short stories in both the magazine and the newspaper. In 1961, he worked for Egyptian television in editing and preparing artistic programs, and presenting about 500 programs. He prepared, directed, and wrote the scripts for 27 documentary films for the Egyptian television in a series entitled “With the great Arab artists, Famous Painters and Artists of Egypt.” He published several critical books, including "The Golden Book Series", "The Wizard of Pots, the Artist Saeed Al-Sadr", and "Studies in Criticism of Fine Arts".
