A Syrian singer and actor, born in Dayr Sawwan, Afrin, Syria, in 1956 to parents who worked in farming and agriculture. He entered the artistic community and then devoted himself to singing, composing, and writing. He used to perform at concerts and weddings, and he recorded eight albums as a singer and composer. He died at the peak of his career, at the age of 43, on November 4, 1999, in an unfortunate car accident that claimed his life while returning from one of his concerts. He was buried in his hometown, the village of Dayr Sawwan.
