Timothy Allen Dick was born on June 13th, 1953 in Denver, Colorado. He is a comedian, an actor, a voice-over artist as well as an entertainer. Allen’s mother, Martha Katherine, was a community-service worker while his father, Gerald M. Dick, was a real estate agent. When Allen was 11, his father died in a car accident in which his car collided with that of a drunk driver. When his mother remarried two years later, she moved him and his four other brothers with her to live with her new husband’s three children in Detroit Michigan. Allen began his career as a comedian in 1975 when a friend dared him to perform at a comedy club in Detroit. As his career blossomed, he eventually moved to Los Angeles to join the comedy community there. Timothy Allen is perhaps best known for his role in the popular television sitcom “Home Improvement”. |
