A South African actress, born in 1975 to a Dutch father and German mother. Theron studied at the National School of Art in Johannesburg. Then she traveled to Italy to work there as a model, and from there to the United States after she got an offer to model there. Her acting debut was in Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest (1995). She won Oscar for Best Actress for Monster (2003). She's known for her roles in the films Hancock (2008), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) and The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016).


Charlize Theron is a South African and American actress, producer, and fashion model. She starred in several big-budget Hollywood films, including The Devil's Advocate, Mighty Joe Young, The Cider House Rules, and Mad Max: Fury Road. She received critical acclaim and numerous awards for her role in the film Monster in 2003, which is her most known role to date.
