With a crooked nose and undeniable charm and intelligence, Owen Wilson has established himself as an indispensable indie actor, as well as a successful screenwriter, channeling most of his talents into collaborations with his writing/directing partner Wes Anderson. He shares writing credits with Anderson in "Bottle Rocket" (1996), also his acting debut, "Rushmore" (1998) and "The Royal Tenenbaums" (2001), which was nominated for an Oscar for best screenplay. He's also appeared in Anderson's "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" (2004) and "The Darjeeling Limited" playing one of three brothers with Jason Schwartzman and Adrien Brody. Wilson is best known for his superb performances in "Wedding Crashers" (2005), "Zoolander" (2001) and Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" (2011), for which he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
