Antonio Banderas is a Spanish actor and director. He was born on 1960 in Malaga.His father worked as a police officer, while his mother was a teacher. During his childhood, Banderas dreamt of becoming a successful football player, but at the age of 14 he broke his leg, and started attending drama and acting classes. In the early 1980s he started acting on stage in small Spanish theaters. By the beginning of the 1990s Banderas moved to Hollywood, where he earned his breakthrough and rose to become one of Hollywood's most successful and highest grossing stars. His most famous films include: Assasins (1995), The Mask of Zorro (1998), The 13th Warrior (1999), Frida (2002), The Legend of Zorro (2005), and The Skin I Live In (2011). Banderas married twice: first he married actress Anna Lisa in 1987, and they filed for divorce in 1996. He then married actress Melanie Griffith.
