Kurt Wimmer is an American screenwriter and director who was born in 1964. Wimmer attended the University of South Florida where he earned a degree in Art History. Following his graduation, Wimmer moved to Los Angeles where he worked as a screenwriter. In 2002, Wimmer wrote and directed (his own film), “Equilibrium”. He has been (involved in the writing and directing) of several other titles including “The Thomas Crown Affair” and, most recently, “Salt”.
