An Egyptian filmmaker who was born in Cairo in 1947. She lived during her childhood in Lebanon and immigrated to Canada in the early 1960s. She studied Fine Arts at the University of Montreal in Canada. She worked as a director at the National Film Center in Canada and directed a number of documentaries, including Neighbors, and Quatre femmes d'Égypte. |
