He traveled to Iraq and was arrested there and deported to Jordan. Afterwards, he travelled to Cairo and completed his studies in 1958. He worked in the New China Agency in Cairo and mastered the Egyptian dialect. He worked for the German News Agency and completed most of his novels, such as "Laughing" and "The Question". He did several literary, philosophical, and historical studies and a number of translations. He died on December 17, 1989.
