As a full-grown adult, he's well known for his diverse turns in films like "500 Days of Summer" (2009) with Zooey Deschanel, "Inception" (2010) with Leonardo DiCaprio, "50/50" (2011) with Seth Rogen, "The Dark Knight Rises" (2012), "Looper" (2012) with Bruce Willis, and "Lincoln" (2012) with Daniel Day-Lewis. He's been nominated for two Golden Globes. He's the founder and owner of hitRECord.org, the online, open-collaborative production company, that open sources video, music, literature, photography, performance, spoken word, screenwriting, graphic artists to produce group-made short films, books and DVDs. He also made his directorial debut with "Don Jon," a smart drama about a porn-addicted womanizer, played by Gordon-Levitt, who is taught some lessons about intimacy two women, played by Julianne Moore and Scarlett Johansson.
