Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ was born in southern Turkey on 1983 along with 4 other siblings. Kıvanç,meaning "pride", was very athletic since his childhood especially when it came to basketball. He then moved to Istanbul with his family where he had alot of accomplishments among which; joining the basket ball team of Fenerbahçe Ülker club,and being named the "Best Model of the world" in 2001. This opened up for him a whole new world of possibilities and opportunities in modeling and acting. Kıvanç is known in the Middle East by "Mohanad", the name of the lead role he played in the Turkish series "Nour". Since then he was considered to be a very popular male icon in the Arab world. His latest series "Aşk-ı Memnu" or "Forbidden Love" also made a big bang among the Middle East,being one of the most watched TV series. |
