American actress Brooke Elliott was born on November 16, 1974 in Fredley, Minnesota, to a father who was a mayor and a mother who had devoted herself to raising her children. Elliot's talent appeared from a young age, where she began singing at the age of three, and during her middle and high school studies, she was a permanent member of the school's acting troupes, so she decided to enroll at the University of Michigan to study theater art. After graduating from university, Elliott got her first theatrical role with the theater company Babes With Blades in many of their works. In 2000, she got her first movie role in What Women Want, starring Mel Gibson. Elliott continued to provide small roles until 2009 when she co-starred in the TV series Drop Dead Diva, which succeeded in 6 seasons so far.
