Adam Scott is an American actor known for his turns as the cynical Henry Pollard in Starz comedy series "Party Down," and Ben Wyatt on the hit NBC comedy "Parks and Recreation" with Rashida Jones, Amy Poehler and Rob Lowe. Scott was born in Santa Cruz, California, on April 3,...Read more 1973, to two teachers. He graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles. Early on, Scott got small parts in a string of films including "Star Trek: First Contact" (1996), "The Aviator" (2004) and "Monster-in-Law" (2005). He made a memorable cameo in "Knocked Up" (2007) as a gynecologist who unabashedly hits on his patient, played by Katherine Heigl. He also played Will Ferrell's biological brother Derek in "Step Brothers" (2008). He takes the lead in writer-director-star Jennifer Westfeldt's dramedy "Friends with Kids" (2012), starring Jon Hamm, Megan Fox, Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig.
