An Indian actress and former model, Deepika was born in Copenhagen and grew up in the city of Bangalore, India. In her teens she turned to Badminton sport, but left the sports field to be a model. Then, she broke into acting in 2006 by starring in the film Aishwarya. One year later she presented Om Shanti Om. Her notable films include: Happy New Year, Housefull and Finding Fanny.
