Corbijn was born in Strijen, Netherlands on May 20, 1955. He is a Dutch photographer, music video and film director. He is the creative director behind music bands such as Depeche Mode and U2. Some of his works include music videos for Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" and Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box." His latest project includes directing the film "The American" starring George Clooney. |
