Emma Watson is an English actress and model who was born on the 15th of April, 1990. She is best known for her role as Herrmione Granger in the “Harry Potter” film series which saw her acting alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint. Emma was born in Paris to Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson. Both her parents are British lawyers. Following her parents’ divorce, Emma moved to Oxfordshire with her mother and younger brother. The young actress developed an interest in acting from a very early age and trained at the Stagecoach Theater Arts as a child. Prior to her involvement in the “Harry Potter” film series, Emma had participated in several Stagecoach productions and school plays. Watson’s debut cinema performance came in 2001’s “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. The film was a massive success and Watson received much praise from critics for her role alongside Radcliffe and Grint. Over the next few years Watson would retain her role as Hermione Granger in the rest of the “Harry Potter” film series in addition to appearing in other titles such as “Ballet Shoes” and “The Tale of Despereaux”.
