An Algerian actress and choir singer. She was part of the radio and television choir in 1970 under the supervision of Haddad Gilali and Abdel Qader Nour. She appeared in Mustapha Badie's masterpiece The Fire, playing the role of Zahra. Her credits include Laila and the Others, as well as Douar de femmes. In 1974, she married saxophonist Muhammad Ghechoud.
