An Egyptian folk artist, born in 1972 in the Sharabeya neighborhood, north of Cairo. He started singing since his childhood. His upbringing in a working-class neighborhood had a great influence on his artistic career. He was discovered by the lyric poet Amal Al-Tayer. He started his career by presenting songs related to people's concerns, which gained success. He released his debut album in 1995, followed by other albums, including "Raho" and "Nadam Omrak". |
