A Syrian actor and writer, born in the city of Qatana in the Damascus countryside. He graduated from high school, then qualified for teaching primary education and was appointed as a teacher in his country. He remained in the teaching profession from 1945 until 1964, after which he began working for Saudi Arabian Television as a professional makeup artist. Some of his credits are Time and People (2001), A Meeting with the Unknown (1980) and Uncle Maarouf (1978). |
