Egyptian former footballer and football coach. He joined Al Ahly football school in 1972 and trained there till he joined the main team in 1978-79. He played 124 games with Al Ahly and won 3 premier league games, 3 Egyptian Cup games, and 3 African Cup games. He played 18 international games, he joined the youth national team in 1977 and the national team in 1980. He retired in 1987 due to an injury, after which he pursued a career as a football coach. He appeared as himself in the films A Boy Child, Amen (1984), and Al Zamahlawaya (2008).
