After graduating from high school, he worked in modelling in Florida before moving to New York where he took drama classes. He's best known as Joey Tribbiani in the hit sitcom (1994-2004), for which he was nominated for multiple awards, including Emmy Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards. Among his most notable works: Joey (2004-2006), Lost in Space (1998), and Episodes (2011-2017).
