Paul William Scott Anderson is an English film director who was born on the 4th of March, 1965 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England. Anderson graduated from the University of Warwick where he was the youngest student to earn a BA in Film and Literature. He made his debut as the writer-director of the film “Shopping”, a movie about thieves who smash their cars into storefronts. The film was banned in some UK cinemas and was released in the United States as an edited video version. Anderson’s next work was the film adaptation of “Mortal Kombat”. The film was well received by fans and some critics. Anderson usually works with genres involving science fiction. Among his other works are “Resident Evil”, “Alien vs. Predator” and “The Dark”. He has been married to “Resident Evil” star Milla Jovovich since 2009. |
