He gained recognition and fame playing Michael Scofield in the Fox drama "Prison Break." He had his first screen role in the late 1990s on the popular show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," on which he had a recurring role. Miller has appeared in "The Human Stain" with Nicole Kidman and Anthony Hopkins, "Underworld" alongside Kate Beckinsale, and "Resident Evil: Afterlife" (2010).
