Biography

A Palestinian poet, writer, and voice actor, born in Beirut in 1972. He participated in many cultural and poetic evenings and intellectual and literary conferences. He was in his third year in the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, so he continued his studies at the Lebanese University in the Faculty of Arts, Department of Arabic Language, and obtained a bachelor’s degree. He wrote the poetry collection “The Dance of the Butterflies” in 1997, and “The Landforms of the Sea, the Pains of the Waters” in 2012. He also wrote many programs, the most important of which are Poets Who Lamented Themselves, as well as The Funniest Animals in the World. His writings were linked to the land and homeland, and he nourished them with the element of myth, specifically with the elements of fertility and growth by employing the symbolism of water in human thought. He participated in a number of arbitration committees, such as the arbitration committee in the Palestinian Poetry Competition in Lebanon alongside the poets Chawki Bazih and Shehadeh Al-Khatib in 2009. He won the Palestine Prize for Culture in 2011 for his poem "Times in Blue for Water Pains". He participated with his voice in films, series, and animated shows in Lebanese dubbing.
