Canadian and Czechoslovak film producer, director, screenwriter and theater director, born October 27, 1946 in Komarno. He attended McMaster University and obtained a BA in Music in 1969. At McMaster he produced and directed several short films. His most notable works include: Up in the Air, Heavy Metal and Six Days Seven Nights.
