Paul Haggis is a director, producer and screenwriter who was born in Ontario, Canada in 1952. Haggis got his start doing work for American and Canadian television series including: “The Love Boat,” “Different Strokes,” “L.A. Law” and “EZ Streets.” He was also involved in the creation of popular television series such as “Walker, Texas Ranger” and “Due South.” In 2004, he was worked as a writer and producer for the Academy Award winning film, “Million Dollar Baby.” The following year he wrote, produced and directed the film “Crash,” winning two Academy Awards (Best Picture and Best Writing). He has since worked as a screenwriter, director and producer on a number of films including: “Letters from Iwo Jima” (2006), “Quantum of Solace” (2008) and “Third Person.” (2013). |
