A Libyan poet, author and composer, born in 1955. He was called the "poet of the Al-Fateh revolution" or "the poet of the Libyan revolution" due to his revolutionary poetry style. A number of Libyan and Arab singers sang from his words and melodies. His traditional songs dealt with the Libyan Bedouin life, while his patriotic songs included themes on Palestine and Iraq. He received a number of awards, including the first prize at the Cairo Radio and Television Festival. In addition, he is the owner of Dar Ajaweed for artistic and cultural production.
