Joseph Vincent Russo is an American director and producer born on July 8, 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Iowa, with a degree in English and writing. He collaborates with his brother, Anthony, and are known as the Russo Brothers. Their directorial debut was Pieces (1997), followed by Welcome to Collinwood (2002). They worked in television for a while then went back to film again by making You, Me, and Dupree (2006). They're best known for their work in the films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, (2014), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). |
