She has a BA in Finance in 2018 from Khalifa University in the UAE, and a Diploma in Filmmaking and Screenwriting in 2012 from NYFA in Abu Dhabi. The series Boxing Girls...Read more (2019-2020) is considered her writing debut. She worked as a scriptwriter and voiceover supervisor in an animated film as part of a campaign for Khalifa University in 2014, and was a coordinator at the Dubai International Film Festival in 2012 and 2013. Her script for the film "Shay Karak" won the 2012 screenwriting competition in the crime category at New York Film Academy in Abu Dhabi. She also won Promising Director Award at Dubai TV Competition 2015, as well as second place in the short story competition by the Ministry of Education in the UAE in 2011.
