A Saudi writer, born in 1934 in Riyadh. He is considered one of the pioneers of the literary movement in Saudi Arabia since 1950. In 1961, he wrote his novel "A Hole in the Night’s Cloak", which is the second important novel that established the Saudi novelist experience after the novel "The Price of Sacrifice" by Hamid Damanhuri, which was published in 1959. He wrote novels, short stories, and articles. He also wrote three TV series: Unforgettable Days (1974), Sarah Between Two Hearts (1982) and The Bedouin Girl (1978). He died on 8 March 2013.
