An Italian screenwriter and producer, born in Rome, Italy. He graduated in Modern Literature at the Sapienza University of Rome, then moved to the United States, where he spent nearly a year, and began working in the film industry. In the late 1970s, he met with Giancarlo Giannini, who commissioned him to write a script for a horror film, which is the approach that Romoli took after that. Among his credits are Facing Windows (2003) and The Ignorant Fairies (2001).
