American producer, director, and actor born on 15 May 1963 in Los Angeles, California. He began his career as an actor, appearing in the TV series Joanie Loves Chachi (1982). He usually collaborates with George Clooney in producing and writing films such as Good Night, and Good Luck. (2005) and The Ides of March (2011). He won an Academy Award for Best Picture for co-producing Argo (2012).
