American actor, stand-up comedian and writer born on 1 December 1940, in Peoria, Illinois. He made his acting debut in the series The Wild Wild West (1966). His most notable works include Silver Streak (1976), Bustin' Loose (1981), Superman III (1983), and See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989). He won an Emmy Award for Best Writing for Lily (1973). He died on 10 December 10, 2005 in Encino, Los Angeles. |
