Salma El-Sharkawy |
He was an Egyptian novelist and screenwriter born in Cairo on July 6, 1956. He started writing poems in late 70's then moved to writing short stories and novels such as "The Ship's Mice", "The Swan's Tweet", and "Downtown's Collectibles", which talks about different important cafes and places in downtown. Several of his poems are published in Sout el Gamaa Magazine and others. He also had activities in cultural seminars at the university until he was awarded the title of University Poet in 1979.
