He received a bachelor's degree in film production from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts and has taught TV writing at the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a member of the Writers Guild of America. His most notable works include Under Siege 2: Dark Territory (1995), The Mothman Prophecies (2002), Miracles (2003), and Titans (2018-2021).
