Jim Sheridan was born on the 6th of February 1949. he's an Irish director with few but good films. Best known for “My Left Foot,” “In the Name of the Father,” “The Field,” and “In America.” He graduated from University College Dublin, then he emigrated to Canada and then New York city in 1981. He also wrote five plays. Sheridan is a six time nominee to the Academy awards for best screenplay, best adapted screenplay, best director and best picture. |
