Bryan Singer was born on September 17, 1965 in New York City. Singer grew up in a Jewish family west of Windsor, New Jersey and graduated from West Windsor-Plainsboro High School....Read more He studied film for two years at the School of Visual Arts in New York City for a brief period of time but did not graduate from there and then joined the USC cinema school in Los Angeles. Upon graduation Singer made a short film where Ethan Hawk and many of his friends participated in. He then participated with Christopher McQuarrie and his friend Michael in presenting a successful film at the Sundance Film Festival in 1993. Singer’s work varied between directing, writing and producing and he is famous for working on science fiction films and literary genres.
