Shia Saide LaBeouf is an American actor and director. He was born in Los Angeles, California in 1986. LaBeouf started his career at the early age of ten, when he starred as Louis Stevens in the Disney Channel series Even Stevens. He was awarded with a Young Artist Award in 2001 and a Daytime Emmy Award in 2003 for the role. Shia's breakthrough in film came in 2007, when he starred in the lead role of the commercially successful films “Disturbia” and “Surf's Up”. The same year, he was cast in Michael Bay's science fiction film “Transformers” as Sam Witwicky, who became the main protagonist in the rest of the film series. His other film roles include “Wall Street: Money Never Dies” (2010), “Lawless” (2012), “Nymphomaniac” (2013) and “Fury” (2014). In 2004, he made his directorial debut with the short filmLet's Love Hate and later directed a short film titled Maniac (2011), starring American rappers Cage and Kid Cudi.
