A Turkish actor, screenwriter and film producer, born on December 15, 1971. He was raised in Ankara. He has two brothers a writer and a producer. He graduated from a school related to tourism, then worked in tourism. He headed to the United States and stayed there for 6 years. After the September 11, 2001 explosions, he returned to his homeland, pledging not to return to the United States again. His first work was through Yilanlarin Öcü in 1985. He was the producer of Bir Kadin Tanidim in 2011. His first marriage was to Claire Şaşmaz but they got divorced. Afterwards, He was married to Negahan Kashiki, for seven years. Their marriage resulted in two children, then they got divorced permanently in September 2019. Among his most important works: The Valley of the Wolves (2003-2005), Valley of the Wolves: Homeland (2017) and Kurtlar Vadisi: Irak (2006).
