An Australian actress and opera singer, born in Sydney, Australia to Scottish parents. She started singing at an early age and sang in several concerts. In 1951, she traveled to London to continue her studies at the Opera School at the Royal College of Music. Her credits include Dad and Dave: On Our Selection, No Reservations, Spectre, and Carlito's Way. She died on October 10, 2010, in Montreux, Switzerland, due to heart failure.
