An American actress born on July 27, 1972 in Florida to an artistic family. Her mother was a singer, and her father was a music producer and writer. Her parents moved to California in 1973 a few years after her birth. She graduated from St. Augustine School in California where she developed a friendship with the star Gwyneth Paltrow and completed her studies at the University of California. She obtained a degree in photography in 1995. She had her debut in the series Chicago Hope (1996-1997). She began to establish her feet in Hollywood when she participated in the popular comedy program Saturday Night Live in 2000 which made her natural comedic talent stand out clearly. Her most important works are Bridesmaids (2011), Away We Go (2009), The Way Way Back (2009), and Inherent Vice (2014). She was married to the famous director Paul Thomas Anderson, and they had four children. |
