Kate Novack is an American producer, director, and screenwriter. Her short documentary Hysterical Girl, which she wrote and directed, was nominated for an Academy Award. It was also nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Writing, and for Best Short Film by the International Documentary Association in 2018. She is best known for Le Cirque: A Table in Heaven (2007), Page One: Inside the New York Times (2011), The Gospel According to André (2017), and the short documentary Hysterical Girl (2020).
