An American director who was born on February 14, 1973 in the United States of America. He graduated from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Relations Georgetown University in Washington and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Film from the Art Center School of Design. He started in advertising with the production company Palomar Pictures. His movie, Grey Gardens won many nominations for Emmy Awards in 2009. His most important works are the movie The Vow (2012), the movie Every Day (2018), and the series 13 Reasons Why (2020).
