An American director who was born in the United States of America. He graduated from the Georgetown University's Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Film from the ArtCenter College of Design. He started in advertising and directed ads for the company Palomar Pictures. His TV movie Grey Gardens received several nominations for Emmy Awards in 2009, winning one. His most important works include The Vow (2012), Every Day (2018), and 13 Reasons Why (2020). |
