Egyptian Singer Amal Maher was born on February 19, 1985. She was discovered by musician Mohamed El Meligi at one of her school parties. Later on Amal left the school and joined The Institute for Arabic Music. Later on professor Salah Aram introduced her to legendary musician...Read more Ammar El Sheraai. She became known after the series Umm Kulthum, in which she sang many classics by legendary singer Umm Kulthum, and she was most famous for singing old songs. In 2006 she decided to change her style, singing her own songs, such as What's Going on?. Amal has sung in many TV series, such as His Excellency (2014), Why Not?! (2020), and in several films, such as Legitimate Betrayal (2006).
