American author and producer born on 10 August 1962 in Hartford, Connecticut. She began her career with the series Hi Honey, I'm Home (1991). Her most notable works are the The Hunger Games film series (2012-2015) which were based on the books she wrote.

Suzanne Marie Collins is an American novelist and television writer. She was born and raised in Connecticut, and graduated from the university of Indiana after studying Drama there. She started her writing career through children's books. She is best known for writing the best selling series The Underland Chronicles and for writing The Hunger Games film series, which she also produced.
