She is a media personality and the granddaughter of Zakaria El Hijjawi, a pioneer in the Egyptian folk art. She was born in 18 September 1972 and has two sons. She graduated from Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University, Department of Business Administration. She started through various programs on ART, then worked at the Egyptian Satellite Channel until she moved to the Iqraa Channel, where she presented a range of religious programs, including "Talk in the Air". She also presented programs on Al Hayat, and Al Nahar satellite channels.
