A Syrian television director, born in 1953 in the city of Qamishli in northern Syria. He began his career as a folk dancer in the Umayya troupe and then in the Television Troupe. Then he began directing with two joint Syrian-Tunisian productions, the series Hanzala Rehana's Father (1995) and The Flag and the Rain (1996). He died on April 20, 2000.
